Canada

As I am listening to CBC broadcasting of the swearing ceremony of David Johnson, I wonder why the Canadian’s around me have no interest in anything that has to do with Canada.  Is it the comfort of their society?  I guess this sort of disinterest in ones’ countries social and political issues comes from the fact that people do not feel any major pressure.  As a result of stability of the political and economic system in this country, people show not only a lack of interest in their social and political issues but also resentment toward anything their government is involved in.  And yet, Canada is one of the more modern and liberal democracies of our times. I hope I could say the same ting for Iran...
